Sample Post for ODU Class.

Mr. O’Neal, an 8th grade teacher at Waggoner Road Junior High is taking some students one the annual 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. This year, Mr. O’Neal and Mr. Carpenter are going to use Twitter with some 8th grade students to keep us updated on what they’re doing on the trip. The 8th graders are also going to answer questions that we ask.

Post your questions that you would like answered by our 8th graders while they are on their trip to Washington D.C. The 8th graders will try to answer those questions for us while on their trip.

1) Click on the subject you want to find some other cool and helpful websites with games and lessons.
2) Click on the grade you want to find the information (4th grade).
3) Look at the standards and indicators (what Mr. C teaches you) and pick the one you want information.
4) Click the weblink number in the far left column of the indicator you want to find more information.
5) Look at the website descriptions and pick the site you want to travel for lessons, games, and information.
6) Investigate and learn!
7) Answer the Blog questions below.

When you have done that, please write about your experiences. Tell me:
1) What did you like?
2) What did you not like?
3) What subjects and topics did you click?
4) What did you learn from this website?
5) Would you ask another 4th grader to go to this website? Why or why not?

Remember to use complete sentences. You should have at least one paragraph (5 sentences) written to asnwer all of the questions. Mr. C will be grading this post based on how well you follow the above directions.

Please write about two things you have learned in the past week from school, home, friends, etc. Use complete sentences (at least two) and be school appropriate.
